OUR HISTORY
in 1967, Georgia’s leadership passed legislation to create a first-of-its-kind organization to provide customized workforce training free-of-charge to attract new industry to the state.
Quick Start was born, and it’s success exceeded expectations. Today, Quick Start is still a model for other states and remains the No. 1-ranked program of its type. By continually adapting to the hanging needs of indusry, Quick Start remains the state’s most effective discretionary incentive, playing a key role in decisions by companies large and small to create more and better jobs for all Georgians.
