Quick Start’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Center delivers
In 2015, Georgia Quick Start was asked to build a training center on a picturesque site just outside of Savannah, Georgia, and directly astride Interstate 16. Nearby, properties were being assembled as potential sites for businesses to locate and help develop the region’s economy. The new training center would be equipped with the latest technologies used by 21st century manufacturers. It was offering a solution to the most vexing issue facing companies today: finding the skilled workforce able to perform successfully in an increasingly complex manufacturing environment. New companies could focus on their business. Quick Start had the workforce training covered.
In 2022, the largest economic development project in the state’s history was announced. Today, the center is churning with training for Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) and other companies locating to supply HMGMA’s operation with the parts needed to assemble electric vehicles and new products yet to come as the company pioneers future mobility solutions.
But that’s not all. Quick Start is dedicated to supporting any qualified new or expanding company, and today continues to provide training for distribution operations, food manufacturers and the wide range of industries that make up the robust powerhouse that is the Coastal Empire.
