When Quick Start’s team shows up to train at Gerresheimer’s manufacturing facility in Peachtree City, the trainers and staff greet each other like old friends.

That’s because they are.

“Gerresheimer Peachtree City has a continuing partnership with Georgia Quick Start that has lasted for over 20 years. We recognize and appreciate the value added to our workforce in working with Quick Start,” said Heinz Dierselhuis, Gerresheimer PTC USA president.

Quick Start has worked on various projects with Gerresheimer since 1993, when the Germany-based company was still known as Wilden Plastics. Over the years, the company’s portfolio has expanded to include inhalers, insulin delivery devices, and other medical devices.

Training courses offered at the Peachtree City facility have included safety, lockout/tagout, and quality control. New products and technology such as iPads, animations, and augmented reality have supplemented Quick Start’s printed manuals to help illustrate assembly procedures.
