Quick Start training suits sportswear company to a tee

Perry Ellis International Inc., a men’s sportswear company, has opened its first distribution center in Dublin, Ga., and the executive vice president is excited about the company’s partnership with Georgia Quick Start.

The company has over 27 apparel brands, including the eponymous Perry Ellis, Callaway, Ben Hogan and PGA Tour.

Perry Ellis purchased the 597,000-square-foot Dublin distribution center in November 2019, and it has invested more than to make the facility conducive to the apparel industry and shorten its lead times for faster delivery.

Quick Start’s training for Perry Ellis included a distribution center overview, using hand-held radio frequency, or RF, scanners, and other training.

“This is the first time I’ve been in a state where I’m getting this kind of help,” said Fanny Hanono, executive vice president of Perry Ellis International, Inc. “It’s nice to know Quick Start has our backs.”
